Pallathu vakeel was not a founder of Marthoma church..The land where the church now located was belongs one roman catholic person around 80-90 years before and due to some conflict with his parish; he handed over the land to Marthoma sabha through one of his friend ( a marthomite ) and built the church.

Pattupurackal Devi Temple is a Devi(Mother-Bhadrakali) Temple sitivated in a panoramic place in Padinjattinkara, Meenachil Taluk, Near Pala. Temple is in the middle of a paddy field and near to a Thodu(samll river). This temples is owned by Devaswam Board(A Govt. Controld Body).
All near by Hindu's are coming here for prayer , genaraly in morning and evening, there is special puja(prayer) in Mandalakalam(in the month of Nov-Dec-Jan).

Pallathu Vakeel was one of the founders of St.paul's Marthoma Church Pala, his second son Late Thomas Mathahi Advocate(pallom Mathai Sir)was a leading crimal lawyer and the President of Criminal court Bar Assiciation Pala. His son Dr.Thomas George resides in the Tharavadu and Pallathu Family has an active role in church activities till now.
